Buying and selling houses is not an everyday exercise. Nor is it something most people know anything about. Then, thrown into one of each: first buying when prices were out of sight and then, selling after interest rates had soared made for a disturbing experience. I was selling a house I’d lived in and loved for almost 50 years so making the decision was not easy. My luck was finding an agent who not only helped me sell but did a lot of patient hand holding and explaining and being there whenever I needed him! You could not do better than having Mike Vieyra on your side and tending to your best interests to see you through a trying time! He saw to all the details and was always available with answers just when I needed them!
Mike at Riverwest Realty was great! He knew what we wanted, was responsive(and patient) and while looking knew what we were looking at, knows about the foundation, roof, heaters, water heaters- all the stuff a first time buyer needs a little guidance with. Its a complicated process and someone that knows the ins and outs of the financial side as well the nuts and bolts stuff was reassuring. There were definitely times when he was also the voice of reason, telling us to walk away when a place we liked needed too much- Riverwest was a great choice, we’d definitely go with Mike and them again.

I recently purchased a home through Riverwest Realty. The whole process was pleasant and anxiety free. Lance and his team were helpful in all ways. They listened to what I wanted and showed me homes based on those wants. I am truly thankful I walked into their office.

Lance is professional, methodic, transparent and quite the strategist. After Lance met us at our house, he did his homework and met for consultation of where he felt our house fit in the market and his plan to get the most eyes on house. His strategy for our house gave us the confidence he was looking out for our best interest, he was straight forward on his options. You can tell that he really enjoys the process of selling home. When it came to getting offers, he worked the offers and was able to get us a great deal. Even through the inspection amendment process he was able to work the deal to meet our goals. He was reassuring even when our nervousness was getting the best of us. He is quick to respond to text, calls or emails, even after the sell was complete and I had something come up he was quick to help. If you’re thinking of selling, do yourself a favor and call Lance, you will not regret it.
We couldn’t have been happier with the representation we received from Riverwest Realty when we sold our house. We had met with Lance a year in advance to get an idea about the possible market value and to ask about what we might want to do to put our house in the best shape for selling. We didn’t know when we might want to sell and Lance was quite happy to meet with us well in advance of selling without him pressuring us at all to do it immediately. When we had a question whether or not to replace something in the meantime he was very happy to give us his professional advice. He sent a photographer to take photos of our place once we decided to move and his support staff was great. He always answered our calls personally when we called him. When I was interested in finding a realtor to help us sell our rental property in Milwaukee, I came across Lance at Riverwest Realty quite by accident… but boy, am I glad! Lance is a very knowledgeable realtor. As a first time seller, he walked me through the process and was very responsive to any and all questions I had. He wasn’t sure how showings and selling would work as I listed at the beginning of the stay at home order in Wisconsin during COVID-19. In October, 2018, my wife and I decided and followed through on closing our Property Management business, which included selling 5 multi-family properties (one of which was a duplex we lived in, and acted as our office and warehouse) and also to purchase a new home (6 properties in total). This was all completed in September 2019, under a year, with all of the actual sales closing in a 6 month timeframe.

Lance was very professional and helped us to find our dream property! He really took time to get to know us, what we wanted out of a home and our lifestyle. My husband and I first contacted Lance when were interested in a home he had listed. We were just starting to look and had been in touch with a few realtors, but Lance immediately stood out. First, the house we were initially interested in just wasn’t actually going to work for our needs. Not only did Lance recognize that, but then he took the time to explain what a buyers relator can do and offered to help us out. Lance gets to know the neighborhoods well, and if he isn’t that familiar in a specific area, he does his research. Not only is he familiar with the process of buying/selling homes, but he also knows houses themselves. He was very quick with this responses – usually an immediate answer, but I think it was usually within hours at the most. We were also impressed with his ability to predict the way negotiations were going to go. We had a very difficult closing, (appraisal coming up short, lender pushing back dates, student loans delaying things, etc.), but Lance remained ready, willing, and able to assist us every step of the way.

He worked with us for months beforewe closed and really put in a lot of extra time and work to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. He personally walked through the home numerous times to check of the status of some repairs and delayed the closing because he spotted a leak in the bathroom that the inspector did not see. When ever a new listing comes up, he does his best to give us the information we need, he makes himself available to show us the property, and he also keeps us informed of any new listings that may become available. We have purchased two properties through Lance and he is still helping us with our search for a third. We will continue to use his services and refer him to any friends or family who may be interested in purchasing homes.

I had a great experience with Lance; I found an awesome house and he helped me pull through it. I purchased a foreclosed property, which didn’t have much room for negotiation, and plenty of complications in closing. We got it done, which wasn’t easy and Lance gave me plenty of helpful resources along the way. He definitely was locally minded, and responded quickly to issues and my correspondence.
